Here is a summary for parents/caregivers:
Print the worksheet or draw some shapes that can be equally divided
in half.

Read and follow these instructions, but be careful as there are some trick questions!
Colour half of all the tree shapes green.
Colour half the flower pink.
Colour half of the star shapes yellow.
Colour half the rainbow red, purple and blue.
Colour the whole mushroom red.
Colour half the heart pink.
Colour the whole house roof black.
Colour half the house green.
Colour half the sports balls blue.
Colour the whole cat grey.
Do not colour any of the pencil yellow.
Colour the whole baseball bat orange.
Glue your sheet into your scrapbook.

CHALLENGE: Collect 15 items (it could be 15 toy cars, 15 stickeez or even 15 of Barbie’s shoes). Divide your collection into thirds – write down what you thought about when you were deciding how to divide your collection evenly. Now try to divide your collection into fifths. How did you go?
