I am Grateful
For students to understand the benefits of gratitude.
For students to explore and develop the personal strength of ‘Gratitude’
Our mindfulness for today is ‘Being with all of your experiences’
If you enjoyed this mindfulness clip – check out some of the others on my Wellbeing playlist on YouTube. You might find another mindfulness clip to try – there are also some great sleep meditation clips.
My favourite is sleep meditation is ‘Cat Marina’, I listen to this one at any time of the day when I want to relax, not just at bedtime! Give it a listen, especially if you like cats!
The link to the playlist is below.
Now let’s check out the clip below called Gratitude HD: Moving Art.
I think it is pretty cool, hopefully you will too.
Gratitude may be one of the most overlooked tools for increasing happiness. Research shows it is such a powerful method of increasing happiness. A sense of gratitude can help you maintain a more positive mood in daily life and contribute to the greater emotional well-being and bring social benefits as well. When we feel grateful, we are better at coping with stressful and negative situations.
Gratitude is simply taking time to think about all the positive things in your life.
Gratitude, like all personal strengths, is something that can be practised, and the more we do it, the better we get at it and the greater the benefit to our sense of wellbeing.
What comes to mind when you start to think of the things in your life you are grateful for?
Think about the video we watched, and the beautiful images and words to inspire your gratitude practice today. Let’s go…………
